I can't attend, can I get a refund?

add remove

The registration fee is non-refundable but if you’d like someone else to take part in your place, please contact us as soon as possible.

Why is there a minimum sponsorship?

add remove

We rely on voluntary donations and sponsorship raised from events to continue our work. Our bespoke events are so important in raising awareness and are responsible for raising a substantial amount of the income we invest into beating ovarian cancer. We must do much more than just cover the cost of the event, so we encourage our participants to aim to raise the minimum pledge – if you’d like some tips on how to raise £100, our friendly fundraising team would be more than happy to help, so send an email to [email protected]

How do I set up my fundraising page?

add remove

Your online fundraising page will be automatically created for you when you sign up and you'll be able to view and customise your page using the log-in details you created – your log-in details will be sent to you via email, so don't forget to check your junk folder!

If you sign up offline, a page will be created for you and you'll be emailed a link to create a password.

Can I use paper sponsorship forms?

add remove

Yes, you can print our sponsorship form [PDF] or email [email protected] if you’d like us to send you some via post.

How do I pay in my sponsorship?

add remove

If you've raised money offline, calculate the total amount, add it to your bank account and then add it to your fundraising page (which is automatically created once you've completed your online registration) via the 'add offline donation' button.

Or you can do one of the following

1. donate online -
ensure you select 'Fundraising / Paying in sponsorship' and include 'Ovar-Dressed Belfast' under 'Event name'

2. donate by post - send us a cheque made payable to ‘Target Ovarian Cancer’ to Target Ovarian Cancer, 30 Angel Gate, City Road, London, EC1V 2PT. Please write your full name and 'Ovar-Dressed Belfast' at the back of each cheque

3. direct bank transfer - call us on 020 7923 5474

Is there a sponsorship deadline?

add remove

We ask that all sponsorship is paid in by Monday 10 June 2024.

Do I have to dress up/wear fancy dress for this event?

add remove

It is entirely up to you as to whether you'd like to wear fancy dress, a small accessory or even just a Target Ovarian Cancer supporter t-shirt for this event! The choice is yours.

When will I receive my t-shirt?

add remove

Your t-shirt (or running vest if you've upgraded for £10) will be sent to you around a week before the event. If you sign up the week of the event, you’ll need to collect this on the day.

Will the route be accessible?

add remove

This route is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance, due to the steep gradient of Prince of Wales Avenue.

Please note that the main event site and sections of the course are on grass so may become very muddy depending on recent weather conditions.

Are there any toilets on the route?

add remove

Yes, we will make sure to signpost the toilets and provide the specific location on the route map.

Am I able to run, instead of walk this 5k?

add remove

Yes, you are able to run the 5k route if you'd prefer. Please be mindful that most people will be walking the route on the day and we are not chip timing this event.

If you have any more questions please email [email protected] or call us on 020 7923 5474 and we’ll be happy to help.
