The money you raise helps us continue to be there for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

We are proud of the impact we deliver. From frontline support and GP education, to securing national policy change on cervical screening information and delivering national awareness campaigns, our work is targeting life-saving early diagnosis and support.

Your fundraising is what makes this possible – raising £500 could help 500 people learn the symptoms of ovarian cancer, helping more people seek an earlier diagnosis.

By joining Team Target, you're bringing us a step closer to a future where life isn’t limited by ovarian cancer.

Thank you so much for taking on this challenge – we couldn't do what we do without people like you!

"I chose to run the Manchester Marathon for Target Ovarian Cancer because the cause is deeply personal to me. In October 2024, aged 42, I was diagnosed with stage 2A ovarian cancer, I had to undergo a major operation and then I completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy on 20 April 2025. Running my first-ever marathon on 19 April 2026 almost exactly one year on from finishing treatment felt like a hugely emotional and powerful way to mark how far I’ve come.

The experience was incredibly tough, especially having never run a marathon before, but reminding myself why I was doing it and reflecting on the difference a year can make carried me through. I was immensely proud to wear the Target Ovarian Cancer running top on race day it felt symbolic of my journey and of running not just for myself, but for everyone affected by this disease. My fundraising advice is simple: share your story, talk openly with family and friends, explain the vital work Target Ovarian Cancer does, and don’t shy away from the facts about the disease, adding a personal connection really helps people understand why their support matters."  – Belinda
