Why we're fundraising...
Marie, my incredible & beautiful mum, passed away earlier this year. As many of you know, she showed unwavering strength, resilience and determination throughout her 3 and a half year battle with Ovarian Cancer.
Myself and Alex have decided to complete the London Parks Half Marathon in October to help fundraise for Target Ovarian Cancer, a charity that was very close to her heart. As one of the most positive and kind-hearted people we knew, it's only right that we continue mum's legacy by fundraising for this amazing charity in her memory💜
Target Ovarian Cancer works to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women like my mum.
Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.
Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
Raise awareness. Fund research. Save lives.
