I’m Running the London Marathon for Target Ovarian Cancer – In Memory of My Mum, Rose Loxton 💜
On Sunday 26th April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon in memory of my incredible mum, Rose Loxton, who we sadly lost to ovarian cancer on 14th August 2020.
In November 2018, after a serious horse riding fall, doctors discovered she had stage IV ovarian cancer. She battled back with amazing courage — even returning to the saddle after treatment — but the cancer returned, and she sadly passed away.
Mum was brave, resilient, and utterly dedicated — to her family, to her horses, and to life itself. I want to honour her by running 26.2 miles, a challenge that’s nothing compared to what she endured.

I’m taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
