Why I’m fundraising...
I'm running the 2026 London Marathon in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer because this cause is deeply personal to me - in spring 2025 my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, news that absolutely devastated our family. Anyone that has met Lorraine knows her as a force of nature, and true to form she's remained amazingly positive throughout all the ups and downs of treatment. Seeing her continued strength during this period has inspired me to take on this challenge, and I'm excited to run for her and all the other women and families going through the same thing.
Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity, working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide vital support to everyone affected by this disease. They've been incredibly supportive to our family in this time, and I'm honoured to be able to raise funds and awareness for such an amazing organisation.
