Why I’m fundraising...

I’m running the 2026 London Marathon for Target Ovarian Cancer because their cause means a great deal to me. In spring 2025 my family received the incredibly tough news that my mum had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Anyone who has met Lorraine knows her as a force of nature, and true to form she's remained amazingly positive throughout all the ups and downs of treatment. Seeing her resilience has inspired me to take on this challenge, and I'm excited to run for her and all the other women and families going through the same thing.
Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity, working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide vital support to everyone affected by this disease. They've been a great source of support in this time, and I'm grateful to be able to raise funds and awareness for such an amazing organisation.
Please support my fundraising and help me to make a difference for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
My Updates
Sad news :(
Sunday 26th AprHi everyone,
Thank you so much for supporting my London Marathon fundraising—it truly means a lot to me and my family.
I unfortunately had to withdraw from this year's marathon last minute due to injury. I was pretty gutted, but I'm now working with Target Ovarian Cancer to hopefully defer my place to the 2027 London Marathon. While this isn’t fully confirmed yet, we’re optimistic that I’ll be able to run for them then.
If I do take part in 2027, your generous donations will roll over and continue to support the charity’s incredible work in tackling ovarian cancer. In the unlikely event that I’m unable to run, the charity has confirmed that refunds can be arranged.
If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to me directly. Otherwise, I’ll share an update once I have confirmation about 2027—fingers crossed!
Thank you again for your support 💛
