Why we're fundraising...
Its been just over 7 years since we lost Nicola Ramsey on the 14th of July 2019 to this awful disease, Ovarian Cancer - the silent killer. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandma and was taken from us far too soon.
Like many, Nicola caught the disease too late and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2017 and fought a long and hard battle for two years.
This is the primary reason why Target Ovarian Cancer is so important, as one of its main aims is raising awareness for the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. This is essential, as the earlier it is caught the easier it is to treat.
This is the third walk we have done with Target Ovarian Cancer, and it will not be the last, any donations are greatly appreciated.
