Running for Lizzie
On Sunday 21st April I will be running the London Marathon for Target Ovarian Cancer, a charity very close to my heart.
In 2022 I tragically lost my sister-in-law to this dreadful disease. Liz was the heart and soul of a large, fun-loving family; she was an amazing wife to Steve and mum to their three beautiful daughters Amber, Lola and Mia
Liz fought this cruel disease for over 5 years and faced each day with a positive attitude and a smile. Her courage and determination has inspired me to raise as much money as possible for Target Ovarian. This small but wonderful charity are leading the way in funding vital research and running awareness campaigns in order to improve early diagnosis.
Your donations will also help to fund a support line led by Nurse Specialists who provide vital emotional, practical and clinical advice to patients and their families. This service was a great source of comfort and guidance to my wife throughout her sister’s illness.
