Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
It’s hard to put into words what it’s like to watch someone you love go through something like cancer, especially when the symptoms for this type of cancer can be so undetectable. It is very difficult to get your head around what is happening to them and how you can support and help them through it all.
I feel so lucky and grateful that I still have my friend here, she is so strong and I am doing this for her.
So please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
