Why we're fundraising...
On New Years' Day 2023, Becca's Mum passed away from complications linked to Ovarian Cancer after putting up an incredible fight.
This October, she and Joe will be turning the outfits up to 11 and taking on the Ovar-dressed 10k in Regents Park in Joanne's memory, and raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer, a UK based charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.
Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.
Please do sponsor us, if you are able!

Rebecca, you’re incredible. 💙 The way you keep finding the energy to do these challenges in your mum’s memory is so inspiring, and the Ovar-dressed 10k sounds like such a fun and joyful way to honour her while raising awareness. I know how much this cause means to you, and it’s amazing how much you’ve already achieved in supporting ovarian cancer charities. Wishing you and your boyfriend the best of luck for Regents Park — I am so glad to be able to support you in this.
