Why we're fundraising...
As many of you know, this year has been and still continues to be one of the hardest years my family has faced in a long time as my brave Mum, Evies Nanny was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in January 2022. She has been through months of chemo, scans, blood tests, major surgery and continues to fight the disease. All through this, she has continued to have a smile on her face and will not let it bring her down.
Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.
Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
I know current times are exceptionally hard for everyone right now but every penny counts and we would appreciate any sponsor however big or small! Thank you 😊
