Why we're fundraising...

Ovarian cancer can be devastating and survival rates in Northern Ireland are among the worst in Europe. Over 200 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Northern Ireland each year and over half of women are diagnosed at a late stage when the disease is more difficult to treat. 

We are raising funds for Target Ovarian Cancer to support research, raise awareness, and help those affected by this often overlooked disease in Northern Ireland.

As a family, we realise the importance of raising awareness, and there is an urgent need for government-funded campaigns across Northern Ireland to highlight the symptoms of ovarian cancer and encourage women to visit their GP if they have concerns. By supporting this cause, we aim to shine a light on the importance of early detection, better treatment, and improved outcomes for women across Northern Ireland. Your generosity will help bring us closer to a future where no woman has to face ovarian cancer alone.
