Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

My marathon story
Wednesday 28th JanWhy I’m Running the London Marathon
This year, I’m running the London Marathon in memory of our mum who sadly passed away from ovarian cancer on the 14th August 2024.
Tracy was an amazing woman — a real go-getter who truly loved life. She was kind, caring, the life and soul of the party and
endlessly supportive of everyone around her. She had a way of making people feel welcome, and
everyone who met her, loved her. Losing her has left a huge hole in our lives, but her strength,
warmth and positivity continue to inspire me every day.
I’m running in support of Target Ovarian, a charity that does vital work raising awareness,
supporting those affected, and funding research into earlier detection and better treatments.
Ovarian cancer is often called a “silent” cancer because its symptoms are easily missed — and
greater awareness really can save lives.
My training has begun and I’m pushing myself with a strict training plan- come rain or shine I will be out 4 times a week. 14 weeks to go!
By taking on this marathon, I hope to honour our mum’s memory, help raise awareness of ovarian
cancer, and contribute to a cause that means so much to me.
Every donation, no matter the size, will spur me onto go and smash this once in a lifetime challenge and help support this important work and bring us closer to a future where fewer families have to experience this loss. I’m doing this for you Mum, and everyone who has been affected by Ovarian cancer. ❤️
Thankyou all!
