Why I’m fundraising.....Zoe
In December 2012 I lost my beautiful young sister, Zoe, to ovarian cancer. During her illness, Zoe showed the most unbelievable strength & courage that was truly inspiring & heartbreaking. Zoe had just become an Aunty & regardless of her pain, tiredness & treatment was always there to give her niece a cuddle. When Zoe gained her angel wings on 13th December 2012 we all knew our lives would never be the same. Even to this day I cannot fully process what happened. To loose any loved one is devastating. I feel so robbed of sharing moments of my life with Zoe, as do my parents, nieces & nephews. Zoe lived her life to the full the few years of her illness, she bought a house, got married & learnt to drive, she did as much as she was physically capable of doing. To be given the opportunity to run for this amazing charity is such a privilege & honor. Zoe absolutely loved anything Robbie William, Gary Barlow & Take That. So Zoe in honour of our favourite belt it out loud Take That song I'll "Never Forget"
I’m taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer. No amount is too small, I would be eternally grateful to you all.
