I’m running the Great North Run 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop Ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means raising symptom awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
I am running in memory of Steph Stringer, the wife of a friend who sadly died from Ovarian cancer. She sadly left behind her husband Andy to raise their two young boys without their Mum.
I am running to honour her memory, to support my friend and his boys, and to help ensure more women are diagnosed earlier and have access to better treatments in the future.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer so more families don’t have to say goodbye.
