Why I’m fundraising...

In January 2023, my Aunt Cathy (my namesake- I'm Annalee Catherine) died of Ovarian Cancer after a short but very tough battle. She went from feeling fine to tragically passed in around 2.5 months.

She was the greatest, most giving, loved-by-all person I have ever known and her illness is one of the most devastating things my family and I have had to witness.

I am running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 in her honor. Had Ovarian Cancer been more researched and funded, perhaps my Aunt Cathy would still be here today, touching the lives of people around her. I fundraise for the hope that families don't have to mourn sudden, tragic losses from this disease like mine does.

---

I’m taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
