Why I’m fundraising...
In April 2025 my Mum died after a short battle with Ovarian Cancer. My Mum (Ann Bryce) was 84 but you would never have known it! My mum was healthy and fit and helped my sister every night on the farm looking after horses - in all weather!
My Mum was admitted into Hospital in March and died on the 6th of April 2025. In February when I visitied her for my birthday she was absoutley fine, a picture of perfect health and you would never have known there was anything wrong. Ovarian Cancer is known as the silent killer as there are very few symptoms and this was the case for mum. She put up a short and valiant fight but the cancer was too far gone for any treatment. My mums death was totally unexpected and out of the blue and a massive shock to all the family. She has left a void that will never be filled. This is why I have decided to run the GNR this year and I am raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer. Any pennies that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
