Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.

I have always loved to keep fit but found myself in a bit of a rut after 2020 and let myself go .

I decided in March 2021 to do something for me and start running again. I wanted a goal so set myself a challenge of doing a 10km run and up popped the 10km run in Bute park, cardiff for this fabulous charity.  

I lost my Mam Mam to this cruel disease and wanted to give something back.

I did my run virtually today in the company of my legend of my father and with the support of my mother and son Llew. 

I hope my little bit of fundraising helps women get the chance to be diagnosed quicker and fight this disease.
