Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. Earlier this year, my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and has been through six months of intense chemotherapy. Her symptoms were small and the diagnosis completely shook us as a family, but she has shown incredible strength throughout it all.
I want to honour that strength by running this half marathon and raising money for a charity that truly makes a difference. Target Ovarian Cancer focuses on what’s most important, increasing symptoms awareness, achieving life saving early diagnosis, improving treatments and providing vital support for everyone affected.
