Royal Parks Half Marathon

Why I’m fundraising...

In 2024, I lost my mum, Lorna, to ovarian cancer. Life without her has been incredibly hard. Our whole family—my dad Ron, my wife Jenny, our son Nico, my brother Andrew, his wife Lex and their children Paloma, Joshua and Dexter, and my mum’s sister Tanya—miss her deeply. All who knew her miss her immensely. She was warm, unbelievably kind, and had a way of making everyone smile and feel happy.

Earlier this year, I ran the London Marathon—my first ever marathon. It was a huge personal milestone, and now I’m running two more races in Mum’s honour: the Richmond Park Half Marathon in September and the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October 2025.

I’m doing this to raise funds and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. They focus on what matters most: life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments, greater awareness of symptoms, and support for everyone affected by this disease.

Please support my fundraising. Together, we can help change the future for everyone facing ovarian cancer.
