Fat lad fancied a run for his mum!!!
I have thought long and hard about why im doing this, I am a fat lad and fancy running isn’t on the list I enjoy but its not about me it’s about raising funds and awareness.
Sadly this cancer is known as the silent killer, it’s often too late to treat effectively. Sadly the outcome we had as a family wasn’t what we had all prayed for.
To go through everything my mum went through would take too long and too many words. However much pain and suffering she went through to beat cancer she did it with a grace, humility and strength i never thought possible. Never complaining, just a will to carry-on even when their was nothing else that could be done.
Until the end she never gave up, and that is what i will do when undertaking this challenge. I can't say i will do it with as much grace/humility but i will do it.
