fundraising for a very special cause
As some of you may know in March 2012 my Nan was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she was told she had 2 weeks to live but battled this awful disease for 3 years, she eventually lost her battle & was taken from us far too soon.
I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025, this is very special to me as I know Nan would be so proud of me and the girl that I’ve grown up to be.
My Nan was a huge part of my life & watching her fight this disease was one of the hardest things my family and I have ever gone through.
Ovarian cancer often goes undetected until it’s too late and I want to help change that, I hope to contribute to better awareness, earlier diagnosis & improved treatment options for others that are affected by this disease.
Every step I take is in honour of my nan & for all those fighting ovarian cancer.
