I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of my aunt Cindy

On October 13th, I'll be running the Royal Parks half marathon in memory of my wonderful aunt, Cynthia Reedy. Cindy left us too soon, on February 8th, 2024, after battling ovarian cancer for many years.

Cindy was one of the most exceptional women the world will ever know. With endless enthusiasm for education, art, history and nature, Cindy inspired all of all to be curious about the world and never stop learning. I was devastated to not be able to attend Cindy's funeral, as we cared for other family in Europe. I therefore wanted to do something special to honour her this year.

I hope you'll support me in this cause. I have run a half marathon before, but admittedly did not train very well and struggled. I am aiming for a time of 2 hours and 10 minutes, but am hopeful I might be a bit speedier on the day.
