Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the Great North Run 2025 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Everyone who knows me know I’m not a runner, despite coming from a family of bonkers runners!!
I have been dutifully training behind the scenes since January and knew I wanted to fund raise but wasn’t sure what for.
Sadly, we have been hit with a blow that means this charities aim has become important in our lives and I would love to raise some money to support them.
Every single step of that 13.1 miles will be whilst thinking about the most amazing person and to show her that she’s got this!!! 😘
