Manchester Marathon 2026

Why I’m fundraising...

Around 4 years ago, our family received the news that Mum had ovarian cancer. She went through several rounds of chemotherapy and major surgery, but she unfortunately lost her battle in November 2023.

Ovarian cancer is a silent killer and it is normally only discovered in later stages. Target Ovarian is not only contributing to vital research to improve treatments, it's also spreading awareness about early detection.

After seeing first hand the affect this had on my family, I want to run this marathon with the hope that it can help others in the future. My Mum was taken far too soon but with the help of Target Ovarian we can work to improve women's chances of beating the disease.

Any donations welcome big or small!
