For my mum and all the other warriors
Around 7,500–7,700 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK each year. I am fortunate to be choosing this challenge, yet these women who are diagnosed didn't choose their challenge but they have to battle through it regardless. My mum is one of them. I have watched my mum fight cancer over these last 10 years. I am not only doing this to raise awareness, but I am doing this to show how much she has inspired me by her courage and strength to keep pushing through, no matter how hard times have been.
True warriors don't always choose their battles, but they face them regardless.
