Help me fund research and increase awareness into ovarian cancer
Most people will know I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2019 and had a recurrence in 2020. Over these years I went through around 15 hours of surgery. Running has been a focus to get me back to my pre diagnosis health and fitness so I have decided to take on the challenge of my second marathon. I was slightly traumatised after London Marathon in 2022 but after 3/4 years I want to give it a go to beat my previous time (and my sisters marathon time… it’s hard being the competitive sister).

I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
