Why I’m fundraising...

I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2026 to raise funds and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity.

Their work focuses on what matters most to stop ovarian cancer taking over lives: improving symptom awareness, supporting life-saving early diagnosis, driving better treatments, and providing support for everyone affected by the disease.

Like so many others, I’ve seen the devastating impact of cancer on family and friends around me, and it has inspired me to do something positive to help those affected.

I'm running the Great North Run in honour of everyone affected by ovarian cancer and cancer more broadly. By taking on this challenge, I hope to play a small part in helping Target Ovarian Cancer continue its vital work and support those who need it most.

Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Every contribution will help make a real difference to the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer.
