London Marathon 2027

Why I’m fundraising...

I have been lucky enough to be selected through the ballot to run the London Marathon in 2027, and I’ll be taking on this incredible challenge for Target Ovarian, in honour of my mum.

Mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2018. Since then, she has undergone multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy and through it all, she has continued to show incredible strength, courage and determination. She is one of the most stoic and inspiring people I know, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

Ovarian cancer is often known as a “silent killer”, with symptoms that can be difficult to recognise and diagnosis that may come too late. More research is urgently needed to improve early detection, develop better treatments and give more families hope for the future.

That is why I’m taking on the London Marathon: to raise money for Target Ovarian and support the vital research they fund. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help make a difference to people affected by ovarian cancer.

If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t, sharing this page would mean just as much.

Thank you for supporting me, my mum and everyone affected by ovarian cancer. 💙
