Why I’m fundraising... For my amazing Nan
I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, for my lovely nan who sadly passed away at the age of 72. After being given the terminal diagnosis of only 12 months, she was determined to fight and lived a further 6 months, even during her last few weeks she was so determined to beat it, but sadly it took her from us too soon.
This is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
