Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
My Updates
London Marathon 2026
Friday 12th SepI’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Target Ovarian Cancer, a charity that means so much to me and my family.
In May 2022, we heartbreakingly lost my sister Jade to ovarian cancer. She was just 32 years old, full of life, and taken from us far too soon after a sudden and very short battle with the disease. Her loss has left an unimaginable hole in our family’s lives — one that can never be filled.
Since then, running has become a huge part of my journey. It’s helped me cope both mentally and physically through the toughest time of my life. Running gives me space to process, to remember, and to keep pushing forward even when things feel impossible.
But this isn’t just about me — it’s about raising awareness and funds so that more families don’t have to go through what we have. Every day in the UK, 11 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, yet awareness of the symptoms remains far too low, and outcomes haven’t improved enough. Target Ovarian Cancer is working to change that through research, campaigning, and support for those affected.
In 2024, I ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Team Target and raised just over £1,300. That was an incredible experience, but now I’m taking on the biggest challenge of my life: my first ever marathon. 26.2 miles. Something I never thought I’d be able to do.
This year feels even more personal, as I’m now 32 — the same age Jade was when we lost her. Running in her memory gives me strength and motivation every single day.
My fundraising target is £3,000, and every donation — big or small — will make a difference. It will help fund vital research, raise awareness of the symptoms, and support families facing ovarian cancer right now.
If you can, please support me on this journey. Whether it’s through a donation, sharing my page, or simply cheering me on, it all means so much. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to others.
This one’s for you, Jade 💙
