I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed London to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Ovar-Dressed London 5K
Saturday 26th Jul Myself and my sister Izzie have decided to take on the challenge to complete a 5k in fancy dress for Target Ovarian Cancer.Myself, I have suffered from a complex Ovarian cyst for years now, it has given me a fright and seriously made me research more and more about womens health. Finding out how ovarian cancer is known as the ‘silent killer’ is shocking! At the moment there is no reliable screening test like for cervical cancer and often symptoms for this can go undiagnosed for years. In fact, 70% of cases are diagnosed late… in that time the cancer has already spread. It is vital we raise money for this charity so it can help spread more awareness and better tests to be put into place. And also to help the poor women and families already being affected by this terrible, terrible cancer.
