Why I'm fundraising...

My name is Orla. I want to fundraise because my Grandma has ovarian cancer. I want to help her because I love her and she is very precious to my Mum and me and my little sister. 

I am going to walk 10 miles across the Easter holidays to try to raise money for my Grandma and other people with ovarian cancer.

Sunday 16th Apr
I am finished!!! I have done 14 miles in total. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me because I have made a lot more money for Target Ovarian Cancer than I thought I could. Thanks to you I have made £1183. Thank you for sponsoring me.


Walk to the Pub

Monday 10th Apr
Today I walked 2.3 miles but we are just saying 2 miles to the pub and we got to the pub and got caught in a very serious hail and thunder storm. We had to go to Nana's house. 

We saw Grandma yesterday. I am going to try to beat my challenge of 10 miles because everyone has been so generous. I want to thank you if you sponsored me because now I have walked 9 miles and raised lots and lots of money thanks to you!

4 More Miles

Saturday 8th Apr
I went to the Heath to do some miles and I used Grandad's binoculars to look out over the lake.

On Tuesday I walked up to Bedales with my friend Bella and Fern because I was doing a drama club up there.

Both walks add up to 4 miles so now I have done 7 in total! 

There is some very good news... Grandma has come out of hospital this afternoon! We phoned her tonight and she is on good form.

A Walk With My Friends

Monday 3rd Apr
Yesterday I did a walk at a Nature reserve with my friends Robyn and Ethan. It was a one mile walk so now I have done 3 miles.

This is to Aunty Ange: Thank you for the chocolate eggs they were really helpful on our walk and we shared them.

A Walk With Grandma

Saturday 1st Apr
I went on a walk today with my Grandma. It was special because it was the last time I will see her for quite a long time while she has an operation because she has got ovarian cancer. 

I did 2 miles and I wore the fit bit so I could track down how many miles I had walked. 

I enjoyed it because there was an Easter hunt and they gave us real explorer equipment and at the end you got a treat and the treat they gave you was very generous. 

If you gave me a donation you have made a very big change because first, I didn't have any money in my donation page and now I have got more that I expected so I am very very grateful thank you so so much if you sponsored me. 

I am going to do some more walking this week now I am on Easter Holidays.
