I am fundraising in memory of my inspirational friend Liz who I lost too soon

I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

London Landmarks Training Weekend

Sunday 26th Jan
Ran in London today with Claire my LLHM buddy. Solid run at a good pace. Lots of chat and landmarks. Finished in Starbucks 😂😂 Excellent boost to the training regime

I am gradually increasing my mileage and this week have put in a long run of 9 miles with other shorter runs. I feel I am well on my way to reaching the target of 13 miles with time to taper before the big day. 
It hasn’t been an easy road returning from injury but compared to the road my friend Liz travelled during her treatment I have nothing to complain about. 
I will keep going whatever happens as Liz will be in my thoughts if not with me in person reminding me to ‘put my big girl knickers on and get on with it’
