Why we're fundraising...

💙 Run for Jane 💙

We’re getting together to take part in a 5km charity run in honour of our wonderful friend, sister, wife, friend, granny & mum, Jane, who fought ovarian cancer with incredible bravery, strength and determination.

5km might not sound like a huge challenge — and that’s exactly why we want everyone to get involved! Whether you’re a serious runner, a casual jogger, a walker, or someone who just wants to come along and be part of the vibes crew, there’s a place for you in Run for Jane.

We’re asking everyone taking part to make a minimum donation of £5, but we’d love for friends, family and anyone who knows and loves Jane to support us by donating whatever they can. Every £5 really does add up, and together we’re hoping to raise as much as possible for ovarian cancer research and support.

🌎 Can’t join us in person? Join us virtually!

Jane has family and friends all over the world, so we’d love for you to take part wherever you are. Pick your own 5km route, get some friends or family together, and complete your Run for Jane on or around the day. Send us your photos, videos and sweaty finish-line selfies — we want the whole world to be part of it!

And if running isn’t your thing, you can still be part of the team by donating or sharing our fundraiser. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us work towards our goal.

Jane fought so bravely, and this is our way of honouring her — bringing the people who love her together, raising money for an incredibly important cause, and hopefully making a difference for other families facing ovarian cancer.

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
