Why we're fundraising...
We are over the moon to be fundraising for target ovarian cancer. As kids we've both grown up in The Swan (York) and have been part of the local community there. This community has teamed up for runs like the race for life. In 2019 we all ran the race for life raising over £2,000 for cancer research. We all planned on running the following year too, however, a close member of the community passed away from ovarian cancer briefly before the run. Since then we (Beth and Ruth) have ran each year for Francine and we are now ready to run the Great north run in memory of her. We can't wait to raise as much money as possible for a charity very close to both of us.
