Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian and peritoneal cancer.

Awareness of peritoneal and ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.

A super day so- grateful for all the help of my three. Sherpas , John, Jane and Nigel. Thank you to all my sponsors for the magnificent total. Ruth's Catbells Challenge

Tuesday 16th Aug
After nearly 2 years of treatment I decided I'd like to raise some money for research for this little known cancer.  We have a marvellous view of Catbells from our lovely flat window and we have had many hikes up it over the years.  I wondered if I could manage to get myself up there again, and was assured I could! I'd really appreciate any sponsorship however small which will help me to "gird up my loins" (as Wainwright would say) for what lies ahead!
