London Marathon 2026

Why I’m fundraising...

In April 2026, I’ll be running my first full marathon—the London Marathon—to raise funds and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. They focus on what truly matters: early diagnosis, better treatments, and vital support for everyone affected by this disease.

In 2017, my wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy and countless tests—each one draining her physically and emotionally. But by the grace of God, she is now cancer-free and carrying our first child. Her strength inspires me every day.

I’m running not only for her, but for the thousands of women—of all ages—who deserve timely diagnosis, compassionate care, and hope for recovery. This will be my first full marathon, and I won’t lie—it’s daunting. I’ve completed half-marathons before (back in the pre-COVID days), but this is a whole new level of endurance, discipline, and mental grit.

Training means early mornings, sore legs, and pushing my body to the limit. It means juggling work, family and recovery—all while staying focused on the finish line. But every time I lace up my shoes, I remind myself why I’m doing this.

I’m running for my wife. For the women who are still fighting. For the families holding their breath through diagnosis and treatment. And for the hope that one day, no one will have to face ovarian cancer alone.

Each mile will be tough—but knowing that every donation helps raise awareness, fund research, and support real people makes it worth it. Your support won’t just help me cross the finish line—it’ll help change lives.

I know times are tough, but every contribution—big or smallmakes a real difference. Your support helps fund life-saving research, raise awareness of symptoms, and provide support to families like mine.

If you can spare a few pounds to back this incredible charity, I’d be deeply grateful. Together, we can help stop ovarian cancer from devastating more lives.
