Why I'm fundraising...
I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed Belfast to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
I am honoured to have been asked to assist Target Ovarian Cancer in its campaigning in Northern Ireland.
I’m doing so as I lost the love of my life and best friend, Julie, to Ovarian Cancer within one year of a late diagnosis, Stage 3c.
I have made my life mission to campaign on behalf of #MyJulieRIP❤️ (x) for greater awareness of women and their partners of its “sneaky” symptoms and a reduction of late/mis diagnosis by GPs when women approach them with these symptoms.
Please support my fundraising, and together we’ll transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
