Emily's Story..

In May 2024 Emily was diagnosed with one of the rarest types of ovarian cancer.  She spent the following 4 months doing everything she possibly could to fight it but sadly nothing could be done to save her.  She was incredibly brave, sharing her story at every opportunity to try and prevent this from happening to other young families.  

Emily had started training for the LLHM 2025, to raise awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer.  Emily was part of a team - a team who are determined to run for Emily in her memory.  Emily remains our Team Captain and will be with us every mile as we run the course in April 2025. 

We are running with heavy hearts but very grateful for every penny donated.  

We will keep you updated on how our training is going - wish us luck!

Why we're fundraising...

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
