Why we care...
..because we can make a difference to women's lives. Brenda, Caroline and Ann local Soroptimists will support the 2022 National Walk in London walking to total of 30km by the River Thames on Saturday 8th October to raise funds for Target Ovarian Cancer. This is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.
Help us help the charity, help a woman with information, provide information and support, fund research, train GPs, raise awareness of a truly silent killer of women of all ages. Symptom awareness, GP training and early diagnosis really saves lives. Fund research. Improve outcomes. Every £1 makes a difference, please donate.
Awareness of ovarian cancer is low 3/4 of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need. Together we can make sure women have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
