Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
In 2018, I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. After a long year of surgeries and chemotherapy, I’m incredibly grateful to now be in remission.
While the journey has left me with lifelong health challenges, it’s also given me a new sense of purpose. I’m committed to looking after my body and staying as strong and healthy as possible — for myself and for my two children, who are my greatest motivation.
I’m not here just to spread awareness, but to raise the vital funds needed to support other women like me. Together, we can make a real difference. 💚
