Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to Run 11 on Saturday 31 May 2025 at Hyde Park, London, W2 2UH and all associated transactions and by entering, you agree to the below:

Health and Safety

You are responsible for your own ability to complete the challenge safely and for any medical conditions. If you have any doubts about your ability to take part including, without limitation, having pre-existing medical conditions you should contact your GP to seek advice before entering this event.
All participants, volunteers and spectators attend and enter this event entirely at their own risk and the organisers shall not be liable for any injury or loss that participants suffer as a result of taking part in the event.
We take all reasonable steps to minimise the risk of injury to participants during fundraising events. There is a stringent risk assessment process in place for the event, which aims to minimise or eliminate the risk to everyone taking part. By taking part in this event, all participants acknowledge that there may be conditions or circumstances beyond our control that can lead to unforeseen risks.
Entry places in the event are personal to participants and you may not transfer your place to anyone else, as it may cause problems of identification in the event, for example if medical assistance is required during the event.
Emergency contact data is required to assist with a medical or other emergency at the event. In an emergency, Target Ovarian Cancer has participants’ permission to hand participants’ personal details (including medical details) over to the emergency services - medical details are captured to assist with a medical incident on event day and will only be used for this purpose, unless required after the event as part of an investigation into a specific accident/incident.
Target Ovarian Cancer reserves the right to change the route of Run 11 at any point.
Target Ovarian Cancer reserves the right to refuse entry to a participant if their taking part is considered unsafe at any point.
Target Ovarian Cancer operates a no smoking policy at all events.
Target Ovarian Cancer requests that participants do not use aggressive or abusive language towards organisers, volunteers or the general public at Run 11.
All under 18 participants must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times (registration fees will apply to the accompanying adult.)

Privacy

By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for any footage or photographs taken during their participation in the event to be used to publicise Target Ovarian Cancer generally, including television, website and DVD/video broadcasts. If you do not want to be included in any photography, please opt-out by notifying the team at registration on the day.
In order to provide chip timing and the necessary health and safety at Run 11, we are working with Krono Sports, who are committed to protecting your privacy online. Your registration data will be shared with Krono Sports for the purpose of recording your bib number and tracking your race time, as well as providing any given medical data to our First Aiders or emergency services if medical attention is required during the event. No financial information is shared. The chip timing results will be made available to Run 11 participants after the race via a weblink. All data will subsequently be deleted by Krono Sports within 2 weeks of the event date.

Fundraising

To take part, participants agree to pay the advertised registration fee and aim to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship per adult (not including Gift Aid.)
When fundraising, you must adhere to the Institute of Fundraising guidelines - www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk - and not do anything that brings the name of Target Ovarian Cancer into disrepute in any way.
Participants may use the ‘in aid of’ logo of Target Ovarian Cancer (which can be obtained from fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk) for fundraising purposes connected with Run 11, provided always that they shall not bring the name of Target Ovarian Cancer into disrepute in any way.
All sponsorship money raised must be donated to Target Ovarian Cancer and cannot be split with any other organisation or used for a participant’s expenses.
If a participant is unable to take part and sponsors wish to retain a refund for their sponsorship, Target Ovarian Cancer must receive a written request for this from the sponsors.
Sponsorship money raised must be submitted to Target Ovarian Cancer by Monday 30 June 2025.
All entry fees are non-refundable.

Online registration closes on Wednesday 28 May 2025 at midday, or as soon as all spaces are full according to health and safety regulations.

Availability of t-shirt sizes is limited. If the requested size is no longer available, Target Ovarian Cancer will provide an alternative size based on availability.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unlawful for any reason, that part may be disregarded and all the other terms and conditions shall continue to be effective.

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed by English Law in all respects and the parties to these terms and conditions irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
