I’m taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

I have chosen to run with Target Ovarian Charity to raise awareness of the importance of women's reproductive system health, which is often neglected not only by health professionals but by ourselves as well. Unfortunately, ovarian cancer is underfunded, which impacts the research and further exacerbates the lack of early detection methods. Therefore, I hope to raise awareness and contribute to raising money to help fund the research and hopefully help many women.
