I’m taking part in Ovar-Dressed London to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Hi everyone

My nephew Ben has walked with me for the Ovar-dressed charity walk for Target Ovarian Cancer for the past two years. 

This year we are joined by my friend Lorraine. Our Team Name is THE SYMPTOM SQUAD. The fancy dress outfits have arrived but I haven't shown the other two yet!

Most of you know my story. After a stage 3a diagnosis in 2019 that I remain NED (no evidence of disease) is unexpected and I intend to enjoy every moment - including spending the day with my nephew and friend, dressing them up in ridiculous outfits and walking around Regents Park - hopefully without rain this year. Ben will moan how slow we are, but he will bring the 80s music and the vibe.

Please do sponsor us, we appreciate every penny for a cause that is close to my heart.  Help us raise awareness and raise funds for a charity that supports women with a diagnosis and their families, and funds research. 

There's still no screening programme for ovarian cancer so awareness is key - so watch out for THE SYMPTOM SQUAD!
