Why I’m fundraising...
I’m taking part in the Great North Run 2026 to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They help stop ovarian cancer devastating lives: improving symptoms awareness for life-saving early diagnosis, and bettering treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Please support my fundraising, and together we will transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
My Updates
First half-marathon complete
Saturday 27th Jun I had previously been stopped from getting back into running by a mental block, where I didn't believe I had the time to train regularly, and so trained never. Signing up for the GNR has been invaluable; I have started to dedicate time to running whenever I can, and returned it to one of my priorities, because I want to perform as well as I can as a representative of Target Ovarian Cancer to maximally benefit their vital work.
