Why I’m fundraising...

I will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 (and a bigger challenge I will be talking about soon….) to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer. 💜

Last year I had surgery to remove a cyst from my ovary, and since have been having treatment for another 2 as well as cervical scans - and have seen how important the research Target funds is!! I have been so lucky that I have received amazing care but I want hopefully help other women to experience the same throughout an incredibly scary and intrusive process!! ❤️‍🩹
