Why I'm fundraising...

I'm not sure yet if I'll manage 11k or stick with 5k, but either way I have committed to the date. I don't really enjoy running but I know it's good for me and Cecilia and I thought it would be nice to do this together in memory of mum, and in support of Target Ovarian Cancer. I say together, but I suspect we'll be meeting up afterwards as we will not be going at the same pace!

Any sponsorship will be gratefully received. Also, please do join us for a glass of fizz and picnic in the park afterwards. Even better, run with us! 

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.
