Why I'm fundraising...

Hi everyone
You may or may not know that my Amazing Big Sister Be Frayne was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer a few months ago.... she is incredibly brave and has already undergone many sessions of chemotherapy which makes her really poorly. The good news is it seems to be working and the cysts have reduced in size and one of the nodes has eradicated. Hopefully she will be able to have surgery in the near future.
I've joined Target Ovarian Cancer to raise funds in the hope that Hello everyone
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog.
My wonderful Amazing Big Sister Benita was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer a few months ago and has been undergoing chemotherapy on a regular basis in the hope that she can beat this horrible disease. So far there has been some improvement in shrinkage of the cancer and hopefully will be able to undergo surgery to try and get rid of it completely.
My sister is kind hearted and never complains about anything, she is my big sister and together 2 years ago we nursed and cared for our dad at home for 2 weeks whilst he was palliative with colon cancer .
I want to help raise funds in order to help and to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide much-needed support to women with ovarian cancer.
We cant afford to stand still.
I have decided that since it would be an impossibility for me to keep quiet for 11 hours I am going to carry out 11 acts of kindness and also tell 11 people the signs of ovarian cancer and hopefully get them to donate £11. I will also tag 11 people on my face book page.
Please visit my fundraising page where you can keep updated and also use the links to donate.
Thanks in advance. Love L

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, its share of UK research funding has dropped and three quarters of women with ovarian cancer say they do not get the support they need.

Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival and get the right support at the right time, in a way that's right for them.

Raise awareness. Fund research. Save lives.
