Why I'm fundraising...
My diagnosis in November 2023 was a complete shock to me and my family. I had no symptoms. My cancer had already progressed to stage 3C by the time of diagnosis. It is a horrible disease which is often not diagnosed in it's early stages and more research needs to be done for early diagnosis.
I and my family are taking part in The Ovar-Dressed Walk|Run in Regents Park London on Sunday 20 October to raise funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer, the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives – that means symptoms awareness, life-saving early diagnosis, better treatments and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated, please support my fundraising, and together we’ll help to transform the future for everyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
