In memory of Yvonne Morgan

By Yvonne

In tribute to Yvonne Morgan

Yvonne was a generous and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by many and leaves us with all big hole in our lives.

This page is for anyone who wishes to make a donation in Yvonne's memory instead if flowers. As we all know there are flowers on demand from the garden at Woolton.

Yvonne battled with ovarian cancer for years, she went through countless treatments and surgeries to try and be with us all for longer.  She always researched new possibilities, tried anything that might help her and hoped for a cure one day.  Donating to Target Ovarian cancer can help with new research and hopefully find that longed for cure.

I Sit beside the Fire and Think

Tuesday 28th May
I sit beside the fire and think
of all that I have seen
of meadow-flowers and butterflies
in summers that have been;

Of yellow leaves and gossamer
in autumns that there were,
with morning mist and silver sun
and wind upon my hair.

I sit beside the fire and think
of how the world will be
when winter comes without a spring
that I shall ever see.

For still there are so many things
that I have never seen:
in every wood in every spring
there is a different green.

I sit beside the fire and think
of people long ago
and people who will see a world
that I shall never know.

But all the while I sit and think
of times there were before,
I listen for returning feet
and voices at the door.

Thank you for your donations

Your long battle has been an inspiration and it is so unfair that you were taken before you had the chance to meet your beautiful granddaughter Bonnie.
